Our story

Three of us wanted a room like this. So we made one.

A room where people feel welcome, conversations matter, and connection comes naturally. Every month, we're committed to protecting that feeling because we believe everyone deserves a place where they belong.

How it started

We created the room we were looking for.

It started with a simple idea: create the kind of room we'd been looking for ourselves. To create a space where we could have the conversations to talk about the things people were thinking but rarely saying out loud.

A place where people could show up as they are, have meaningful conversations, learn from incredible speakers, and leave feeling more connected than when they arrived.

We wanted a place where real conversations could happen, where people could learn, laugh, reflect, and feel genuinely connected. So we took a chance and created one.

What happened next was more than we expected. People kept coming back. They brought friends. Strangers became familiar faces, conversations continued long after the speakers finished, and a community began to grow.

Today, Kelly, Krista and Deena continue to nurture that same vision. One evening each month, one room at a time, creating the kind of space we all wish existed more often.

The three of us

Kelly, Deena and Krista.

Equal billing, always. All three run the night together.

Kelly Martens, Intuitive healer and Reiki Master

Kelly Martens

Intuitive healer and Reiki Master

Kelly found her way here through her own journey with anxiety, depression and self-discovery. Meditation and energy work were what finally moved something, and that became the work she now shares with other people.

As the founder of Divine Hearts Healing in Stony Plain, her practice draws on Usui Sensei Okuden Reiki, Quantum Shamanic Reiki, Access Bars, sound frequencies, sacred drumming and ancestral lineage work, woven together differently for each person who sits down with her.

Her belief, in her words: healing is not about becoming someone new, it is about remembering who you have always been.

Deena Helm, PCC certified coach and certified Enneagram coach

Deena Helm

PCC certified coach and certified Enneagram coach

Deena works with leaders and teams through coaching, consulting, workshops and culture work, all grounded in one core belief: when you truly understand yourself and the people around you, everything changes.

At the centre of all of it is self-awareness. Understanding yourself, understanding the people around you, and using that awareness to lead and support people in a way that actually lands.

Krista Zaft

Clarity and confidence coach, host of Becoming Sound

Krista is the voice behind Becoming Sound, a podcast that goes into the messy middle of life: growing up in dysfunction, healing from addiction's impact, and learning to live with authenticity and self-trust. She brings together experts and lived-experience guests, because healing happens in community rather than isolation.

In her coaching practice she helps women design a life and a business that actually match who they are, uncovering the self-limiting patterns, finding clarity in the direction, and building the confidence to act on it.

What we hope you take with you

That you leave a little lighter.

Whether you discover a new perspective, learn something meaningful, share a conversation, or simply feel a little more like yourself, we hope you leave knowing your time here mattered.

If one idea, one connection, or one moment stays with you long after the night ends, then we've done what we came to do.

Come and see for yourself.

Reading about a room only gets you so far. The next night is the real answer.
